Zerospam’s leadership and business advisory team are seasoned cybersecurity, business, and development specialists with a concerted vision: to continue innovating and evolving to provide our partners with the simplest to use, most effective email security protection available.

Our Leadership Team

David Poellhuber, CISSP

PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER

David likes to take on big challenges to illustrate the team’s depth of knowledge and high-level expertise. Over the years, he’s assembled an industry-leading team that fit together like the pieces of a puzzle to make something that’s greater than the sum of its parts. With a background in technology, he bootstrapped Zerospam in 2003 in the aftermath of the dot-com bubble. Despite the global market at the time, David turned Zerospam into a fast-growing and profitable business that will continue to be a major player in the email security category.

Louis Doré

DIRECTOR, SALES AND MARKETING

Louis Doré has more than 20 years’ experience in managing channel partners. Prior to his role at Zerospam, Louis was part of Microsoft’s ISV organization where he honed his partner management skills by nurturing intimate partner relationships and becoming a “Trusted Advisor” with both national and international partners.

Jonathan Guay, CPA

DIRECTOR, ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCES

Jonathan manages the company’s finance, administration and HR functions. Besides his financial expertise, he brings to the table his vast knowledge in compliance management as well as in process reengineering. His objectives are to make the company as lean and as efficient as possible, while making sure it doesn't lose focus on its core values.

Elaine Poellhuber

DIRECTOR. SALES OPERATIONS

After 25 years of working in the fields of marketing and communications, Elaine Poellhuber joined Zerospam and, much to her surprise, became totally engulfed in this fascinating business. A few years later, she became a partner which only increased her involvement. She contributed greatly to setting up the company’s high standards of excellence in every aspect of client services and communications, established lasting administrative processes and played a key role in developing the channel.

Yan Coutu

DIRECTOR, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

Yan is an experienced leader in the development of global cloud marketplaces using an agile approach to exceed go-to-market deadlines. He drives the corporate product roadmap and ensures delivery with the software development team and other managers.

Olivier Coutu

DIRECTOR, OPERATIONS

Olivier has been keeping up with the latest in undesirable emails at Zerospam since 2014 and has managed the operations team since 2017. He earned his B.Sc. in Physics and his M.Sc. in Cryptography at the Université de Montréal. He is currently collaborating with a team of researchers to apply the latest machine learning algorithms to our email security.

Our Business Advisors

Michel Lacasse

Advises to ensure proper positioning of our sales strategy.

Michel Lacasse is the sales and channel specialist, and previously led the Metaphore sales team (acquired by Compugen). Michel has in-depth knowledge of the channel and the distribution ecosystem. His out-of-the-box thinking informs our sales and channel strategy, and inspires us to make the right moves to push the business further. Michel now heads the sales team at Askida, recently acquired by Alithia (TSX:ALYA.TO).

Richard Brossoit

Keeps an eye on potential acquisition targets and is our gateway to funding.

Mr. Brossoit is a serial entrepreneur and business strategist providing expertise to emerging and mature technology organizations in both corporate and operational roles. He is a highly accomplished results-oriented executive who has built his proven track record in business growth and counts many successes being actively involved in various organizations over the last 35 years.

M. Brossoit helps create value for shareholders by providing management services through his experience and leadership in: Business strategy, Commercialization (Sales, Marketing, distribution channels), M+A, Financing, Operational excellence, Coaching CEO’s

Chad Loeven

Positions us within the Cybersecurity industry.

Chad has been involved in enterprise security for over 20 years. Chad brings a thorough vision of our industry and makes sure our alignment within the industry is perfect.

Chad Loeven is an executive in the cybersecurity industry. After having successfully guided Vircom and Sunbelt (Acquired by GFI) he directed RSA's strategic partnerships. He's now at VMRay where he heads the Sales and Marketing team.
